Our studio is a very bright, lovely, big space on the top floor of Westferry Studios and we have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere to feel comfortable and protected in.

Ashtanga Technique: "Learn to jump through your arms and back'
Open to all levels, except complete beginners.

This workshop will start with a strong and grounding Sun Salutation A+B and Standing Sequence before we move into the seating sequence.
Here we will spend time developing a light and flowing practice, working with the breath and the bhandas, we will explore the “jump back” and the “jump through”.
Variations will be given throughout the whole course to suit all levels, giving you help and encouragement if you “just” started out and “challenging” you if you have been practicing for longer.

In this course you will explore how to stand on your head, balance on your hands, use your breath to overcome fear of turning your world up side down. You will learn techniques and work on your strength to feel secure to take your practice a step further and face more challenging postures. Mother & Baby yoga is specially designed to aid mum's postnatal recovery whilst engaging in active play and relaxation with their baby. Specifically we look at helping mum to regain strength in the body along with finding ways to open areas of tightness and find space for relaxation.

Pregnancy yoga
classes are to support your pre-natal experience. Our aim is to encourage a sense of relaxation and confidence all the way thourgh your pregnancy up to, and including, labour. It's also a great place to meet other mum-to-be.

Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic, physically demanding, flowing practice. You will be sweating and will feel exhilarated after practising.
Ashtanga Yoga Mysore Style each student works independently at his/her own individual pace and level within the group. We will introduce Mysore Style classes in September 2010.
Hatha Yoga brings you gently from one posture into the next one and teaches you how to breath
in yoga.
Vinyasa Yoga, this class is fun, experimental and playful and gives students the opportunity to try out new postures.
Yin Yang Yoga, a meeting point between sweat and deep release.

I really enjoy the peaceful entrance into this studio and not having to go through a large public gym or area in order to gain access. Though we practice in a group, it is a very subjective experience for me and this is due to Catherine and the wonderful yoga creation studio energy...

I noticed a difference from previous teachers and was immediately hooked. I now actually know where my bandhas are and can feel them. How many times I`ve been told to grip my them before and just tensed my abs only to now realise that is exactly what you don`t do. To conclude I`m well and truly hooked on Ashtanga and blame Catherine completely for it. But such a great teacher who I`m sure will hook many more along the way as she has me...

Have developed pretty steadily, although I still have a desk-driver’s hips and shoulders (‘opening’ slowly), and the famous jump-throughs and jump-backs are eluding me as yet. On the other hand I can now do things I once thought impossible when I saw pictures of them (e.g. headstand, janu sirsasana B). Practicing every weekday helps too...

I feel a hell of a lot better both mentally and physically than I did before I started! It’s easy to focus on the physical side, but I think just doing nothing but focusing on breathing and moving for 1.5 hours a day has helped me a lot mentally, without me consciously aiming at that...

Catherine is an inspirational teacher who infuses each of her classes with the perfect balance of sweat, fun, and joy...

Since studying with her my yoga practice has been transformed. Catherine’s deep knowledge of the technical aspects of Astanga Yoga combines with an intuitive understanding of the body to make even the most challenging poses accessible.
